Luxury women’s ready-to-wear brand ALTUZARRA is seeking a full-time intern beginning 9/30/2013 within our marketing and communications team for the remainder of the summer and upcoming Fall semester. The selected candidate will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and team-oriented environment beginning after the Spring/Summer 2014 presentation during New York Fashion Week.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Assist in coordination of sample trafficking

Requirements:

The Wholesale Intern will support the Wholesale Team in all aspects.

Tasks and Responsibilities:
Assist in the creation of buying tools for market by client

THE ROLE

As a key member of our Style & Fashion Team, you\'ll work with our Stylists to provide customer support, measure clothes and process new inventory. You\'ll do whatever it takes to keep the wheels moving, because that\'s what we all do and that\'s what makes startups awesome.

- Assist with bridesmaids appointments; greeting brides when they first arrive
- Steam samples, put away dresses and organize showroom after appointments to ensure space is clean and neatly organized.
- Assist with the shipping department. Once dresses come in, unpack boxes and quality control each dress to be sure there are no manufacturing issues. This is a critical component of the bridesmaids department, as we find many flaws in the dresses.
- Call brides and bridesmaids to tell them dresses are in and ready for pick up/and or confirm shipping address. Wrap and pack up all dresses to be shipped.
