Job description: 
Researching story leads and facts on the Internet specifically for entertainment + current events (music, art, TV/film, internet personalities), Health/Fitness, Home/Food/Wine, Nightlife, Career/Money/Education/Entrepreneurship, Writing, fact-checking, copy editing, and reviewing editorial submissions and correspondence. Generate and pitch ideas for new writing assignments for editorial sections and newsletter content (trends, products, up and coming designers, events.

Urbane Perspective Media + Lifestyle is an interactive lifestyle network consisting of an online magazine, television and radio channel as well as local events where readers can discuss, share, and interact. This online brand has been designed as a platform to connect women from all backgrounds, cultures and nationalities, and to build relationships through engagement with our articles and in our community

Qualifications: Prior editorial intern experience is preferred. Exceptional writing and editing skills, meticulous attention to detail and factual accuracy. Independent work style requiring minimal supervision. Excellent research, writing and communications skills. Well developed interpersonal skills and ability to multitask to meet deadlines. The STARWORKS fashion PR team is looking for dedicated and detail-oriented interns to start ASAP to help us manage our showroom and assist on all of our fashion & accessories accounts, including Temperley London, Costello Tagliapietra, Monique Lhuillier, Botkier, ASOS, Roxy, V Magazine, etc. The internship is unpaid, but we offer school credit.

Hours are typically 10 am to 6 pm, and we love our interns! While typical duties include the usual—checking in and preparing samples, organizing the showroom, assisting with product inventory, etc.—our interns often get experience working events and assisting with a wide range of accounts, everything from women’s RTW and contemporary to accessories and magazines.
