Job description: Researching story leads and facts on the Internet specifically for entertainment + current events (music, art, TV/film, internet personalities), Health/Fitness, Home/Food/Wine, Nightlife, Career/Money/Education/Entrepreneurship, Writing, fact-checking, copy editing, and reviewing editorial submissions and correspondence. Generate and pitch ideas for new writing assignments for editorial sections and newsletter content (trends, products, up and coming designers, events.

Qualifications: Prior editorial intern experience is preferred. Exceptional writing and editing skills, meticulous attention to detail and factual accuracy. Independent work style requiring minimal supervision. Excellent research, writing and communications skills. Well developed interpersonal skills and ability to multitask to meet deadlines. Organized with strong attention to detail. Proficiency in computers with working knowledge of Google Docs, Microsoft Office as well as interest in Internet research.
